I express my love for my Ghanaian heritage through food. Living in the Bronx so far away from home it's important that my family connects to their culture and ancestral roots. I don’t know much about social media so my daughters helped me because they know that all of my food is homemade with love.

I currently work as a home health aid but my passion for food sparked the launch of @homemadebyewurakua an online catering delivery company thanks to my wonderful daughters.

Someday I will open my own restaurant so I can share my passion for Ghanaian cuisine with more families but for now here is one of my favorite traditional dish 'banku with okra stew'. Enjoy!
